The History of Dr. Dobbs

The Beginning

My family's interest in holistic healing stems back to my great grandfather, Dr. David H. Dobbs, a Baptist minister from Edna, Texas. His home remedies were sold in the town's local drug store still owned by the family today.

Carrying on the Tradition

His son, my grandfather, Dr. James Cole Dobbs, was exposed to his father's beliefs and they served him well when he became the family doctor in Cuero, Texas after his return home from the U.S. Army in World War I.

"It worked for them and it works for me"

I am a Registered Dietitian, my concerns for one's health and well-being are the same as my grandfathers and great grandfather's. As a tribute to my family's beliefs I have used their time-honored formulas as the bench mark in developing Dr. Dobbs' Old Fashioned Natural Remedies.
